Duncan Gardiner
 Overview
Classical guitarist, Duncan Gardiner, delights in bringing a unique
musical world to his audiences. From a strong foundation as a classical
musician, Duncan easily branches out and explores the cool sounds of
Latin America, the fiery sounds of Flamenco and the suave sounds of
Jazz. With a keen eye for detail, he can provide the ideal music to
create the perfect ambience. His playing is often described as exciting
and dynamic and even romantic, atmospheric and full of nuance, yet it is
always breathtaking.
Duncan also performs with the outstanding young violinist Dora
Piekart, together they form Duo Diavolo. Duo Diavolo brings energy and
passion into every performance. They promise a wide range of musical
styles from original compositions, up-beat world music, cool Jazz,
Tangos, Latin standards, funky French music and Celtic favourites in
addition to the more traditional classical repertoire.
