How wonderful that you have made the decision to marry! I
congratulate you both and wish you a memorable and inspiring time as you
plan your special day, and as you journey together into marriage. This
is one of the most important and most precious times in your life.
I am passionate about people and the listening to ‘your story’ is,
for me, one of the most satisfying and magical elements of being a
marriage celebrant. I always find it is such a pleasure to get to know a
couple and to bring together all the strands of their unique story – how
they met, their backgrounds, beliefs, values and dreams. It is an honour
to create with a couple a moving, beautiful wedding ceremony that
reflects who they really are - a ceremony that will live in their memory
forever. I am committed to ensuring that from your special day, family
and friends will carry away with them something very precious in their
hearts.
My background in Anthropology and adult education has enabled me to
work with people from all walks of life and cultures. It also has given
me a great resource to draw upon in terms of symbolic gestures, rituals
and ceremony that can add that ‘certain something’ to a wedding. My past
work in storytelling, singing and public speaking ensures that I present
a professional ceremony with care, style, ease and confidence.
