Shimmer
 Overview
If you are considering including live music as part of your wedding
ceremony, Shimmer offer their services as an acoustic and
sequenced trio, which provides versatility for the various parts of your
wedding reception.
A wedding reception typically, (but not necessarily), is made up of
many different parts. For example, consider the following list of events
that divide the night
- People being seated
- The arrival of the wedding party
- The entrance of the Bride and Groom
- Various announcement, such as the serving of meals
- Speeches
- Any games and event that may be organized (for example garter,
single mans games, bouquet)
- Cake cutting
- Bridal waltz
- Bride and Groom leaving
As well as the typical early acoustic performance at the beginning of
the night before, and/or during dinner, Shimmer will discuss with you
the proposed layout for the whole evening, and liaise closely with the
MC on the night to make sure everything fits together smoothly. Shimmer
will need to fit in both the live performances, as well as the
in-between CD/DJ music, which Shimmer also provides as part of the
package, with other events such as those listed above.
Zowie, of Shimmer, is our main coordinator of organizing the
entertainment aspect of your wedding day, and being a recent bride
herself, knows what it is like to be on the “other side of the wedding
cake”, so to speak. She is fully understanding of how much there is to
organize for a bride and groom to be, and will help you get the maximum
benefit from having Shimmer look after the entertainment part of the
day.
